Cerec Inlay

CEREC is an acronym that stands for ceramic reconstruction. These are crowns that are made by computer aided manufacture of restorations. Solid blocks of ceramic are milled by a very specialised computer into the intricacies shapes of natural looking crowns. Milled restorations are substantially stronger than restorations that are made by an incremental build up technique. If needed the milled crown can be characterised in an oven with several different coloured glazes to improve the colour rendition.
